Our story
Dr. Elena Marchetti founded Aurelius in 2009 with one rule she still repeats in every consultation: never change anything that doesn't make you look like a rested version of yourself. Fifteen years and more than six thousand procedures later, the rule is intact — and it is the reason patients drive from across Orange County to sit in our room.
We are deliberately small. Two board-certified plastic surgeons and one master injector handle every case personally, which means we can afford to be honest about what will and won't help you. When a patient's goal is a dramatic, obvious change, we sometimes tell them we're not the right practice. That candor is not a marketing posture — it is the whole practice.
The result is an aesthetic that reads as good health rather than good surgery: patients whose friends ask if they've been on holiday and can't say why. That is the outcome we design for, every time.
The practice
The person who consults with you is the person who treats you. No junior staff, no delegated injections — your surgeon, start to finish.
Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Marchetti completed a fellowship in aesthetic surgery and founded Aurelius in 2009. She is known for a conservative, structure-first approach to the face and a natural aesthetic in breast surgery.
Dr. Reyes is a board-certified plastic surgeon whose practice centers on body contouring, tummy tuck, and post-pregnancy restoration. He trained in microsurgery and brings a reconstructive precision to elective work.
Sophie leads the non-surgical program — neuromodulators, filler, and medical-grade skin. Every injection at Aurelius is performed by a licensed clinician; the person who consults with you is the person who treats you.

The setting
Our suite sits in Corporate Plaza off Newport Center Drive — private, quiet, and built so that you never feel like you're on a conveyor belt. Consultations are unhurried by design: the time you spend with your surgeon is measured in the quality of the decision, not the efficiency of the schedule.
Free covered parking, virtual consultations for patients traveling in, and coordinators who answer the phone are small things — but they are the difference between feeling handled and feeling cared for.
