Newport Beach · Board-Certified
Refinement, never reinvention.
Two board-certified plastic surgeons and a philosophy of doing less, done well — face, breast, and body results that look like a rested version of you.
The Aurelius standard
A quieter kind of plastic surgery — where the goal is you, rested, not you, replaced.
Meet the practice →Aurelius has practiced in Newport Beach since 2009 on a single, unfashionable principle: the best aesthetic work is the work nobody can name. Our patients’ friends notice they look well and can’t say why — that is exactly the outcome we design for.
Two board-certified plastic surgeons and one master injector handle every case personally. We would rather refine than reinvent, and rather tell you to wait than sell you a procedure you don’t need. It is a conservative philosophy, and it is the whole reason people drive from across Orange County to sit in our consultation room.
What we do
Four disciplines, one philosophy.
Whether the goal is surgical or a fifteen-minute refresh, the standard is the same: the smallest change that achieves it, performed by a licensed clinician.
Our philosophy
The case for doing less.
You can always add; you can’t easily subtract. Overdone features and overfilled faces are difficult — sometimes impossible — to reverse. So we do slightly less, invite you back for a refinement, and protect the way you’ll look a decade from now.
That means fitting implant sizers in the mirror, previewing a profile before a rhinoplasty, and reviewing injectables at two weeks. Measured, not guessed.
Procedures
What we’re asked for most.
Every procedure page includes candidacy, what the surgery involves, and an honest week-by-week recovery timeline — because knowing what's normal is half of a calm recovery.
How it works
A consultation, not a sales pitch.
You meet the surgeon who would perform your procedure. They examine you, listen to your goals, and give an honest opinion — including when surgery isn't the answer.
If a procedure fits, we walk through exactly what it involves, show relevant cases, and hand you a written, all-in quote. No facility fees or surprises later.
When you're ready — never before — we schedule around your life and give you a day-by-day recovery plan so you know precisely what to expect.
Credentials that matter
Board-certified — the certification to look for.
Both of our surgeons are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery — the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties for plastic surgery of the entire body. Many injectors and “cosmetic surgeons” hold no such certification.
Your surgery is performed by your surgeon, start to finish. Injectables and skin are performed by a licensed master injector — never delegated to unlicensed staff.
